Duro-Last Green Globe and LEED MN SOLAR

So here is the deal. if you want a cool white roof you have only a couple of choices. You can Get Duro-Last or Sarnifil. But only one is under the biggest solar PV install in mn and thats Duro-Last. There are many types of solar you can put on your roof for instance
Crystalline Silicon
The highest efficiencies on silicon have been achieved on monocrystalline cells at 22-25%

Thin-film solar cells
there are 3 main types of thin film solar Cadmium telluride solar cell, Copper-Indium Selenide, Gallium arsenide multijunction, they average 18% efficiencies

Multiple-junction solar cells
The record for multiple junction solar cells is disputed. Teams led by the University of Delaware, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems, and NREL all claim the world record title at 42.8, 41.1, and 40.8%, respectively.

If you want a cool white roof check Out Four Seasons Energy Efficient Roofing Inc. They also do micro wind turbines like the Parker's Spiral Air Foil Wind Turbine
Smaller scale turbines for residential scale use are available, they are usually approximately 7 to 25 feet (2.1–7.6 m) in diameter and produce electricity at a rate of 900 to 10,000 watts at their tested wind speed. Some units have been designed to be very lightweight in their construction, e.g. 16 kilograms (35 lb), allowing sensitivity to minor wind movements and a rapid response to wind gusts typically found in urban settings and easy mounting much like a television antenna. It is claimed that they are inaudible even a few feet (about a metre) under the turbine. Dynamic braking regulates the speed by dumping excess energy, so that the turbine continues to produce electricity even in high winds. The dynamic braking resistor may be installed inside the building to provide heat (during high winds when more heat is lost by the building, while more heat is also produced by the braking resistor). The location makes low voltage (around 12 volt) distribution practical.

I think it would be sweet to have a home that runs off its own solar and wind power and then sell the extra energy back to the electric company at a high peak rate and make money off of being green. It is now super easy. check out www.fseer.com and there is alot more information or check out my youttube channel at www.youtube.com/gaberedribbon

what ever you do it is the time to change the way we thing and live for the environment and to save money and power.
